LEGO launches the 1,903-piece Douglas DC-3 Pan Am Icons set in U.S. stores on April 4, expanding its adult-focused historic build line.
The model arrives online and in LEGO stores at $220, according to a LEGO press release. Select hobby retailers will carry it alongside LEGO.com.
Key specifications include:
- 1,903 pieces total
- $220 retail price
- 9.4 × 20.1 × 29.9 in. assembled dimensions (24 × 51 × 76 cm)
The set features working landing gear, removable fuselage panels, and a detailed cabin with seats and cockpit controls. Builders ages 16 and older can assemble functional details that recreate the iconic DC-3, a Pan Am passenger aircraft from the 1930s that was also operated in other countries, including the Soviet Union.
At 1,903 pieces, the Douglas DC-3 set represents LEGO's continued focus on experienced builders with historically inspired models that demand patience and precision.
The company signals more adult-oriented releases are coming, transforming vintage aviation history into display-worthy builds.
